Fridays mission: Phobias

Phobias
A phobia is when you have a fear or are scared of something.
A fear is when you get really scared or panic when you are faced with it. I have a fear of possums because they make a really scary sound and they have scary teeth.

Autophobia: Fear of being alone 
meningitophobia: Fear of brain disease
Xenophobia: Fear of strangers

Thursdays mission

Summary: A girl wants to be part of a talent show and she tries to show her dad the dance but hes really busy with work. She gets stage fright when shes on stage and then her dad comes up and dances with her because he knew the dance even though he was busy.

Her passion is like hip hop dancing.

Her dad is busy with work so she thinks he isn't noticing her dancing and her mum probably doesn't live with them so her dad has to work extra to support her. I think her dad should make some time for her. I think the girl felt let down when her dad waggled his finger at her. I think she would be really disappointed and feel like her dad doesn't care. 

Wednesdays mission:Secret mission

Christmas poem
T'was the night before Christmas and all was asleep
we were so excited to see what we get!
We left some food for the reindeer so they don't get hungry
I hope Santa remembers me because we've already met!

Santa's sleigh must be on my roof
I can't move i'm too excited
I am listening out for Rudolphs hoof.
The tree looks so nice because it's been lighted!

This is my ice cream it has white chocolate cone and gummy bears.(I forgot to write to m's in gummy)

Swimming: Friday

Swimming is here and its time to learn some safety!

Here are some safety tips:
1. Swim between the flags
2.Don't swim alone
3.Look out for rips
4. Swim were you are comfortable
5. Be sun smart!

Where is my favourite place to swim:
My favourite place to swim is Hahei beach because of its pink sand and the waves and the water warm and clear.



What is my best swimming memory:
My favourite swimming memory was when we went to sailors grave and the waves were really big and my sister made me drink some water from the sea to trick into thinking if I didn't I would be cursed. There was just us there so it was fun!

Thursday BLOG Challenge

What do you think the world would be like if…

1. If kids had tails… I think it would feel like you are an animal and it would be really interesting to see what animals tail you had. When you are born it would be really exciting to see and you would probably have that animals personality.
2. If leaves were fish... If leaves were fish it would get really smelly and you would have to water them to keep them alive. Sometimes you could eat the fresh ones.
3. If toes were teeth... If toes were teeth you would have to brush them and it would hurt. How would you eat an apple? How would you eat anything? It would be really gross because your toenails would grow and you would have to chop them.

Wednesday:My favourite dish

My favourite entree is baked potatoes:

• 6-8 large clean potatoes
• salt
• oil
• 4 rashers bacon, chopped
• 400 g can Wattie's Sour Cream and Chives Pasta Bake Sauce
• ½ cup chopped spring onions or chives
• ½ cup grated tasty cheese
• I love this recipe so much because we have made it at school and it tastes so good and its so easy! I think it makes a great entree.

My favourite main dish is Grilled chicken penne:

• 4 garlic cloves, peeled
• 2 cups cherry tomatoes
• 3 cups penne pasta
• 4 cups chicken broth (or 3 cups chicken broth and 1 cup white wine)
• 1/2 tsp each salt and coarsely ground black pepper
• 2 tablespoons dried basil
• 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese
• 2 cups diced grilled chicken breasts

I have only had this a couple of times and I really love it. I love its cheesyness and it tastes so good. I love the penne pasta and the chicken just tops it all off!

My favourite dessert is sundaes:

• Ice cream
• chocolate sauce (optional)
• other toppings e.g Cherries, m&ms, sprinkles etc.

I love sundaes because they are really yum and you can be really creative when decorating it.
